Luxottica Special Prize
With the 2022 edition of our open call we are starting new and exciting partnerships with prestigious brands who work hard with the Foundation to support beauty and talent. One of these brands is Luxottica that has decided to reward two of the projects that were presented at our open call. The winners are the project La Bellezza delle “cose che siamo” (The beauty of the “things we are”) by the ADI Design Museum in Milan and the project Arte Sella 35 presented by the association Arte Sella.
The project carried out by the ADI Design Museum involves the XXVII edition of the Compasso d’Oro prize which will be celebrated on the 20th of June 2022 when there will be the awards ceremony as well as the opening of the exhibition with the products that participated. For the first time, the exhibition of the selected objects will be an integral part of the exhibition’s path and will stay open and visible until September, when the winners will become part of the museum’s permanent collection. The objective of the projects is thus to communicate this event while shining new light on the museum itself and the modernity of its collection.
Again in the realm of art, we also find the project presented by Arte Sella that will use the occasion of its thirty-fifth anniversary as the catalyst for a widespread media campaign which will bring new interest and attention to the peculiarity of this project which mixes art and nature.
Luxottica’s contribution for these winning projects will consist in offering them its digital screens around the city of Milan for the duration of one month.
